Polyphony on the Binnendieze

As a prelude to the presentation concert Ezekiel’s Eagle later that same day in the Jheronimus Bosch Art Center, Cappella Pratensis will give an open-air concert at one of the most beautiful historic spots in the city: the Binnendieze near the staircase gallery on Korte Waterstraat. From a pontoon, the singers perform Gregorian and polyphonic music from the choir book collection of the more than 700-year-old Illustre Lieve Vrouwe Broederschap. Real Brabant heritage as it sounded in the city five to six centuries ago!

The concert is free to attend. However, due to the 1,5 meter rule, we can have only a limited number of visitors. When the maximum is reached, we close the entrances. So make sure you are on time.

In case of rain, we will postpone the concert for a maximum of 30 minutes. If it continues to rain, the concert will be cancelled. So keep an eye on our Facebook page that day for the latest news.
