The Friends of Cappella Pratensis are acquiring an antique choirbook stand for the ensemble. Help them with a one-time contribution!
Singing together from original manuscripts on a central music stand has been the trademark of Cappella Pratensis for over 35 years. These are often loose-leaf copies, but for a few months now the group has had a hand-made facsimile of one of the Bossche Choirbooks. And there will be two more.
With a weight of over twenty kilos, these books are much too heavy for the current standard. That is why the Stichting Vrienden van Cappella Pratensis has decided to collect money for the purchase and restoration of this very special neo-Gothic standard. In 2021, the largest part was already collected, but about € 4,000 is still needed to reach the finish line. If you help, we hopefully can already present the standard at the CD presentation concert on March 23, 2022 in ‘s-Hertogenbosch!
