Finally! From 1 June there are again concerts possible for up to 30 visitors. Cappella Pratensis immediately takes the initiative and comes up with a series of ‘corona-proof’ concerts. With the magnificent Missa cum jocunditate by Pierre de la Rue (1452 – 1518), performed in a small ensemble of five singers and preceded by an introduction to the genesis and incredible musical richness of the Den Bosch Choirbooks.
For your and our safety, we work strictly according to our Covid-19 protocol, based on the regulations of the RIVM and national guidelines for the vocal performing arts. The singers are set up at least three meters away from each other and the listeners. They do not sing as usual from a central score, but read together with the audience from a projection screen, on which the music is displayed in traditional (mensural) notation. An opportunity you don’t get every day!
